Classic Haircut Style for Men - Appropriate for Every Face Shape
Long considered to be the perfect facial shape for both men and women, any man that has an oval face should be careful to choose cuts that keep their hair back from their faces. The cut should frame the face, but not interfere with its classic lines. For round faces with the standard chubby cheeks, the hair should be cut high, using an off-center part. The cut should not frame your face in any fashion, as it will only emphasize its roundness, perhaps even making it appear fatter.
The typical masculine face is square, with chiseled features and sharp angles. To soften this look, go with a layered cut of intermediate length, to better frame all those angles. Try to avoid having a centered part, and try for a deeply off-center part, instead. If you have a narrow forehead and a wide jaw line, then you have a triangle shaped face. The hairstyles that will work best should focus all of the volume at the top, to help flesh out the narrower crown, and balance it with the wider chin. For the opposite, wider forehead with a narrow chin, the classic heart, should have a cut that is longer, past the cheekbones to better frame it.
