Short shorts for men can be fashionable if worn with good taste. They need to fit right in all the right places without revealing too much. They need to cover the upper part of the leg without covering the whole leg and be comfortable when wearing them. On men, they should not be worn so tight that it reveals every part of them.

Some of the short shorts that men wear, and are fashionable, are bun huggers, also known as, racing briefs. These bun huggers barely cover the buttocks and are usually made of nylon or spandex. They allow for a wide range of movements and have a comfortable fit.

Running shorts are other popular short shorts for men and the name says it all. They are for the athletic male and are normally worn by men who run or workout. They are a looser than the bun huggers and usually have a small split up the side of the shorts. These come in a wide variety of colors, styles and designs and are probably the most tasteful looking short shorts for men.

There are times when short shorts should not be worn. Men should not wear short shorts under these circumstances: riding a horse, social event or hiking. These circumstances are pretty well self-explanatory and need no explanation to why short shorts should not be worn.
